Off and Running!

  We made it in late Saturday night, slept hard, and woke up to get our vacation started.

Sunday morning, we went to church. Afterward, the parents of high school graduates put on a celebration for their seniors with a yummy taco bar & cake.

*In case you're reading this and don't know really know me or my family, Leah is my sister.*

The grads each read their favorite Bible passage...

Then it was time to eat!

Philip, my brother, wore food on his face...

And my lunch ended up on a soccer ball...

After church, we went to Tustin's street fair to watch Leah's, Steven's, and Mom's band, Alpha Winds, perform.

After the performance, we walked around a bit, browsing all the stands...

The kids picked out sunglasses...

Don't let Steven fool you. He had fallen hard on his head, but even so, he's ever the comedian...

 I miss seeing sights like these...

And it looks like selective coloring, but it's not, which is why i thought it was pretty cool...

After we made it home, the kids wanted to hit the pool. Look at the planter. Steven fell asleep IN the planter. He ended up going to the ER to play it safe. He was starting to give us a scare, but he just had a concussion.

Steven had fun with my camera. Guess it proves I was actually there. And yes, I do have dimples, just not the kind that show with every smile ;)

So that was our first day. Like I said, we hit the ground running!
