Instead of having a regular worship service at church Sunday, we worshipped God by serving the community. One of the service projects was painting a map of the United States for the elementary school. Imagine my delight when I found out we had to use chalk for the outline!
Here's my friend's son wanting to get in on the action:
In case you are wondering, I believe his foot is by Massachusetts :)

What a cutie!
awwwwww.....and what a GREAT idea! Sounds like worship to me! :D
Oh, I love this! I love when kids actually get to DO something, instead of just sitting in a classroom listening or making pictures with glitter. That is a wonderful capture!!!
That map is awesome! I also love the chalk photo of the girl coloring with her tongue out...I totally do that too! Love the chalk all over that cutie's face, great job!!
Now that is a church I could get excited about! Beautiful.

Love the chalk on his face! Did he take a bite? :) Too cute.
what a great way to worship and a fun use for chalk.
So neat - I love the chalk on his face too, and the way he's trying to use two at the same time.
Great shot! Love the light and colour.

Thanks for your comments on my picture. I love that the little guy in yours is so intent on helping and you captured that. It is so good to include kids in service projects, no matter how young they may be!...

Awww what a cutie....He just wanted to do his part. :)
What a coincidence! Our church had Service Sunday as well; several projects to choose from, and we helped out at the children's carnival ;-)

Love the perspective of this little guy trying to help out! Sounds like a great project.
Wow! Lucky you! Kindness and service are so rewarding, aren't they? And, your photo--precious!!
