After searching for a picture of me with my kids - any of my 5 kids - I've come to the conclusion I need to get in front of the camera a bit more often!
But, this photo of my friend and her little girl just speaks motherhood to me.
Some days, I wish I could still wrap up in my favorite blankie, suck my thumb, and melt in Mommy's arms; safe and secure, with not a care in the world.

Awww....I just love little thumb suckers!
This immediately struck a cord with me because my daughter sucked her thumb, too. I love the mom's adoring smile--totally in love with her little one. Wonderful shot!
